"The Light in the Mill"

The Clark County Drama Club will present the Mystery-Suspense, "The Light in the Mill" by D.K. Oklahoma, Thursday, January 27th at 1:00 p.m. for the student body and parents who work second shift, and again Friday, January 28, at 7:00 p.m. for the community.  Tickets are $5.00 for adults at the Thursday afternoon performance and $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for students for the Friday performance.

Set in a salvage repair room of an old textile mill in the mid-1800's, one of the repair girls has died falling off the rickety bridge of the mill pond leading to the repair room.  Worse, her body has suddenly come up missing from her new grave.  The 1800's superstitious mindset conjures up all sorts of ghostly aberrations.  You will be quite surprised at the twist for an ending.  Starring in the drama are Joey Bishop as the gruff janitor/handiman, Dodge; Salvador Cano, as the department supervisor, Mr. Cardon; Judith Martinez, as the floor "mother", Mrs. Potter; Edith Martinez as the mother of the dead worker, Mrs. Thorn.  The mill repair girls are Madeline Jacobson, Paige Shenton, Paola Barrientos, Jennifer Pfenninger, and the ghost is Taina Pfenninger.  Prompter and backstage is Kami Killian.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the box office in the Clark County High School.
