Education: Utah State University, Bachelors in Agriculture Business & Business Administration, Masters in Business/Marketing Education.
I grew up on a small ranch in Nephi, Utah with my parents and three siblings. It was wonderful to be able to spend most of my time outside either on a horse or tractor. I had the privilege to participate in High School Rodeo and qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals two times. I was also active in 4-H, FFA, and athletics. I still love being outside and being involved with rodeo and athletics.
My post-secondary education was at Utah State University where I completed bachelors and masters degrees where I also competed on the USU Collegiate Rodeo team.
My first teaching job was here at Clark County High School as the Business Teacher. After teaching for three years I spent seventeen years at home caring for our four children. Since returning to teaching here at Clark County, I have taught a variety of subjects and served in a multitude of supporting positions. I currently teach Math and Business classes. I also serve as an Athletic Director, the GEAR UP Grant Director, and occasionally drive the bus.
I love teaching at Clark County. I appreciated the small class sizes which gives us the opportunity to get to know each student and hopefully have a positive and meaningful impact on their development.
