    Welcome All!

    We would like to welcome you to Clark County School District #161 where we are not just neighbors, we are FAMILY!  As you navigate our site, you'll gain access to a wide range of information that you find useful.

    Where can you find us?

    SHHHHH.....don't tell anyone! But, Dubois is located in what we like to refer to as our own private bit of paradise. Dubois, Idaho is located 50 miles North of Idaho Falls on I-15, 83 miles West of Yellowstone National Park, and 30 miles South of the Montana state line. Needless to say, this allows for our own outdoor playground full of wildlife and adventure. It is nestled between the majestic views of the Bitterroot Range, the Centennial Mountains, and the Beaverhead Mountains of the Rocky Mountains. Dubois is the county seat for Clark County, Idaho and the least populous county in the state, so we have plenty of elbow room!

    What can you expect here at Clark?

    When you think of Clark County, you will think of a warm-inviting community that cares about the successes of the youth of today. We have small class sizes, pre-K through 12th grade, that provide for individualized instruction; caring, compassionate faculty and staff that are invested in our students both inside and outside of the classroom; high moral and academic expectations and self accountability; and an administration that encourages and welcomes your feedback. You can expect that your child is our BUSINESS and we take our BUSINESS OF KIDS SERIOUS!
