  • Dear parents,

The school year is coming to a close and we would like to collect all of our textbooks, library books, sports uniforms, instruments and all music (black binder w/music, red or blue band book) and any school fees that are still owed. We have set aside Monday, May 18th and Tuesday, May 19th to collect items from our students. We are asking students to come during their scheduled time in order to reduce the number of people gathering. Please remind your students to return their items and remind them to practice social distancing. We appreciate all of your support and your continued patience.

    Thank you.

  • Dear Jr. High & High School Students & Parents:

Due to COVID-19, our current soft closure, & "distance learning", the school board has approved moving to a mastery learning grading scale.

    • This means that all Q4 grades will be a PASS/INCOMPLETE.  This is just as if we were in school--students are expected to turn in their completed work to earn their "PASS" grade.  If students do NOT turn in their work each week, they will earn an "INCOMPLETE" and will be required to repeat that class.
    • By turning work in each week, students are counted as "present" each day in that class AND will earn their "Pass" grade.
    • If you are NOT turning work in, you will be counted "absent" for that week AND will receive an "Incomplete".
    • Now, with that being said:  don't stress if you are "behind".  Start today by reaching out to your teacher(s) and turn in some work (pictures/emails, etc.)
    • Even though we are not AT school, we are still "IN" school.

WE (the teachers & staff at Clark Co. Schools) BELIEVE IN YOU & know you can do this during these challenging times.

I miss seeing each of you, and wish you all the best!
