Message from the Superintendent-April 5, 2020

April 5, 2020

Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:

I hope this message finds you healthy and well.  I can’t tell you how much we miss all of our parents and students! To try to stay in contact with you we are going to be trying some different things, so stay tuned this week for some upcoming exciting information!

You should have received a phone call from your student’s teacher last week, if not don’t worry, they probably just missed you and will be calling again soon.  One thing you can expect is weekly phone calls to check in on you and your student and to set up ways that we can still connect with them. Some ways your teachers might stay in contact with you could be through zoom meetings; telephone calls; private face book classes, etc.  Therefore, it is important that we have the best number to reach you at and an email address. If you do not receive a call, please notify us at:  ccsd161@mudlake.net so that we can get you in contact with your student’s teacher.

Our teachers have designed two weeks of essential learning for your student that will be delivered to you tomorrow, Monday, April 6, 2020 through your scheduled grab and go meal sites; drop offs or bus routes.  Each of our students/parents should have been notified last week; but if we were unable to reach you, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for clarity. You can reach Michael Ashby at: 530-632-9455.

Our goal during this time is to assist students/families as they develop a structure and routine to begin learning from home.  If you have any questions, please ask your teacher or reach out to me. I promise, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU and we will get through this one step at a time.

Keep an eye on our website and face book site for upcoming information.

With Bobcat Pride,

Paula L. Gordon
